Sintra Portugal Pro
30th August 2009
The final day of the Sintra Portugal Pro has been run and won. Unfortunately Winny was knocked out of the competition by Ben Player, who was then knocked by fellow Aussie Ryan Hardy in their semi final. Ryan was beaten in the final by Hawaiian Jeff Hubbard.
Winny still managed to show his prone and dropknee versatility by placing third in the DK Final behind eventual winner Dave Hubbard from Hawaii. Be sure to check back soon as there are still two more events to go on the European leg of the tour.
Family Vacation – Winny has taken the family with him on the European leg of the tour with wife Aimee and daughter Coco along to offer support and a family environment, what better way to battle home sickness.
Dad and daughter enjoy a swim and a stroll along the beach between prone and DK heats.
Winny in form
28th August 2009
Today saw round 7 of the Sintra Portugal Pro get underway with the top 16 taking on the best 16 who made it through. Sintra is the third Grand Slam event of the IBA World Tour out of a possible four which means double points are on offer so it is critical to perform at your best.
Chad Jackson unfortunately placed third in his round 6 heat, narrowly being beaten by fellow aussie Damien King. Chad just could not get that second good scoring wave but was throwing down some clean and stylish ARS’s during his heats.
Dave Winchester comfortably won his heat, maintaining his consistent form and knocking out good mate and fellow fanta pants Brad Hughes. Winny now meets Ben Player in a man on man quarter final.
Both riders will be looking to better their 2008 performances with Winny placing 7th and Player 4th. This will be one to watch so don’t miss the action!

Behind The Scenes
17th August 2009
If you have had the pleasure of getting your greasy mitts on Movement’s latest issue 29, then you would of have noticed our first ever DPS (that’s advertising lingo for Double Page Spread).
The inspiration for the advert came from a book that Chad had which portrayed porn stars in their everyday get up as well as their naked “working” body. The decision was made to body paint the team the same colour as the wetsuits they were in to depict that wearing a Reeflex wetsuit is like being in your own skin.
You will now also know that even though their man bits were blurred out to look like they were naked, they weren’t. They were all wearing similar colour briefs that were photo shopped over to give you a false impression.
We hope you like looking at it as much as we enjoyed making it!

Time Will Tell
8th August 2009
Is it the year of the Winchester? After a great start to the IBA World Tour with a fourth place at Pipeline and then backing it up with a fifth in Peru and a third in Chile, Winny Chester has climbed the rankings to sit third overall going into the European leg of the tour. Can he maintain his consistent form and climb to the top come November? only time will tell.
Here are some shots from Daves time in Hawaii earlier in the year.
