He took out the 2007 Australasian Open title at just 15 years of age.
This thrust the kid onto the scene and he has not looked back. With the skills to match it with the best of them, a fierce competitive streak and that burning desire to find the best waves on offer, it’s only a matter of time before Alex has served his apprenticeship. Part of it being completed on Movement Magazines grom trip to Samoa in early 2009 where Alex was reportedly the stand out surfer of the trip.
Now with High School out of the way, a driver’s licence in his back pocket and a set of wheels to take him places, no waves are safe from the power of Alex’s rails.
With trips to the Philippines, Samoa, Bali and now Hawaii under his belt this kid is turning heads like never before.
